Must know
- Start from the season to copy. On plans that include Seasons, open the season and click Create next year’s season. The new season is a Draft with dates moved forward one year.
- What comes along. Programs, memberships and competitions are copied; enrollments and early access codes are not.
- Copied programs are live. They are created Active with registration open right away, so review them as soon as the rollover finishes.
- Automatic option. With Recurring Season on, the next season is generated Renewal Lead Days (30 by default) before this one ends.
1
Open the season to copy
Go to Settings > Registration > Seasons and click the season to copy.
2
Click Create next year's season
The button is at the top of the season page. The dialog Roll over this season? says the new season will be a draft. Click Continue.
3
Review the new season
A message reads Season rolled over: [new season name] (plus a count of staff assignments not carried, if coaches have left) and the new season opens. When it’s ready, set Status to Active on the Overview tab.
Check requirements. They copy unchanged: a Membership Requirement or Purchase conditions rule may still name last season’s membership or program, and a By birthdate window keeps its original birth dates.
If next year’s season already exists with the matching name and dates, the rollover opens it and copies nothing, so nothing is duplicated.
Rolled-over programs are ordinary programs. Edit, hide or complete them like any other.
Automatic renewal. These settings sit in the Recurrence card on the Overview tab.
