Must know
  • Your chat stays with you as you move between dashboard pages. A full page reload starts a fresh chat panel — but your previous conversation isn’t lost, just reopen it from the Recent chats menu.
  • Chats are private to you. You only ever see your own Hero conversations, never another staff member’s.
  • A new chat is auto-titled from your first message. Use the + button to start fresh, and the Recent chats menu to reopen, rename, or delete an earlier one.
  • You can stop a reply while Hero is still writing (the Send button becomes a Stop button), and stop an auto-continuing sequence with its Stop link.
Everything you need to manage conversations sits in the panel header.

Starting and reopening chats

1

Start a new chat

Click the + (New chat) button at the top-left of the panel. Hero names the chat automatically from your first message, so you don’t have to title it.
2

Reopen a past chat

Click the chat title next to the + button to open the Recent chats menu, then pick a conversation. Each entry shows its title and how long ago it was last used.

Your chat follows you

Hero keeps your active conversation as you navigate to other dashboard pages. A full browser reload starts a new, empty chat instead — but your earlier conversation is still saved, so reopen it from the Recent chats menu. Because each person’s chats are tied to their own account, your teammates can’t read yours and you can’t read theirs.

Renaming and deleting chats

In the Recent chats menu, hover a conversation (or focus it with the keyboard) to reveal a rename and a delete control on that row. Rename swaps the auto-generated title for your own — type a new name and confirm. Delete removes the chat and shows a brief Undo, so an accidental removal is easy to reverse.

Stopping Hero mid-reply

While Hero is composing an answer, the Send button turns into a Stop button — click it to end the reply early. If Hero is working through a step-by-step sequence, an Auto-continuing… line appears with its own Stop link so you can halt the series.
