  • A program is the recurring unit you sell — a class or series. Uplifter turns its schedule into one session for every date the recurrence produces, crossed with each weekly time slot.
  • An Active program must have at least one schedule slot. A Draft can have none, so you can start a program and finish it later.
  • Editing the schedule keeps history: removing a slot detaches its past sessions rather than deleting them.
A program bundles everything families see and buy when they register: a name and description, a weekly schedule, pricing, a registration window, and any eligibility rules (age, level, gender, membership, waivers, and more). You build it once, and Uplifter generates the individual sessions from the schedule you set. How sessions are generated. When you set the recurrence (for example, every week on Monday and Wednesday) and the time slots for each day, Uplifter creates one session per matching date. A program that meets twice a week for ten weeks produces about twenty sessions. Add a second time slot on a day and each occurrence of that day produces a session for every slot. Each session carries its own date, time, location, capacity, and coaches, inherited from the program. You can override any single session later without disturbing the rest of the series. Because sessions are generated, the live preview in the Schedule step shows the exact dates that will be created before you save — a quick sanity check that your recurrence and date range line up.
