Must know
- A pass belongs to a Family, not to the guardian who paid. Every purchase is made for a Family, and the payer is recorded separately as the Original payer.
- The pass covers the Family’s athletes. Adults in the Family can spend it. People with shared access can spend it only for the athletes their access covers, and only with the Spend family passes permission.
- Each purchase is its own holding with its own credits and dates. Two purchases of the same pass never combine.
- Passes are a plan feature, off by default. If you don’t see Passes under Settings > Registration, contact Uplifter support.
Who owns it. At checkout, a buyer in more than one Family picks one under Purchase belongs to. A buyer with no Family is stopped with “Create or join a family before purchasing a pass or punch card.” The pass stays with the Family even if the Original payer leaves it.
Who is covered and who can spend it
Coverage follows Family membership, not guardian links: the pass covers every active athlete in the owning Family, including a co-guardian’s other children once they join it.
Separate Families never join. A pass never covers an athlete who is only in another Family, even when one adult belongs to both. An athlete in two Families (say, two households) can use either Family’s pass, depending on whose adult registers.
When the pass counts. Only an active holding inside its dates counts. A credit pass with no credits left doesn’t lower the price or meet a pass requirement. A holding waiting on one of its requirements shows Requirements pending and gives no price until it clears.
