  • Only Uplifter can turn it on or off. Ask Hero is off by default, and you can’t switch it from your dashboard.
  • Check the status yourself. Go to Settings > Organization > Features. The Ask Hero (AI assistant) card shows Enabled or Not included.
  • When it is off, these disappear: the Ask Hero bubble, the Ask Hero card on the Home page, the Cmd+J or Ctrl+J shortcut, and the Hero Usage settings page.
  • While it is on, any staff member with the Edit Settings permission controls the spend limit, overage and alert threshold.
Turning it on or off. You cannot switch Ask Hero yourself. If you want it enabled or disabled, contact support. The Features page says the same when the feature is off: “This feature is not enabled for your organization. Contact support to enable it.” The card is read-only for club staff. Where it shows up when it is on. Ask Hero is in the admin dashboard for staff accounts only, not in the family portal or the coach portal. It appears in two places:
  • The round Ask Hero bubble in the corner of the screen. Hover over it to see the Cmd+J or Ctrl+J shortcut. On narrower screens it opens as a bottom panel.
  • The Ask Hero card on the Home page, just below the greeting, with a message box, prompt ideas and Recent chats.
What changes when it is off. Your past Hero chats are not deleted. They are there again when Ask Hero is turned back on. What you control. While Ask Hero is on, staff with Edit Settings set the monthly spend limit, decide whether to allow billed overage, and choose the alert threshold. These settings are on the Hero Usage page, so you can reach them only while Hero is on.
