Must know
  • One season per program. Adding a program to another season moves it there.
  • From the season or the program. Use Add Program on the season’s Programs tab, or pick a Season on the program’s Configure > General tab (None takes it out).
  • Active seasons only. A program’s Season list shows only Active seasons. A new season starts as Draft, so make it Active before you pick it there.
  • Uplifter turns Seasons on. Until it does, the Seasons page and the Season field don’t appear.
Before you start. You need the Edit Training permission. Linking never changes when the program runs, or anything about the season.

From the season

Go to Settings > Registration > Seasons, click the season, and on its Programs tab click Add Program. Search, pick one or more programs, and click Add Program or Add [N] Programs. A program in another season shows Currently in [season] - this will move it. Adding just that one shows Program moved from [season] to this season.

From the program

On Registrations > Programs, open the program’s row menu and choose Configure. On the General tab, pick a Season (or None) and click Save Changes. Edit step-by-step has the same field on its General step. A season that is no longer Active stays selected, with a status badge.

For several programs at once

On Registrations > Programs, click Select, tick the programs, and click Bulk Edit. Choose Season, pick a season or No season, click Continue, tick the confirmation box, and click Apply to [N] programs. Here the list includes every season, whatever its status, and nothing checks the program’s dates.
When the dates or the season don’t fit. Only the season’s Programs tab checks. A program dated completely outside the season is held on a Check this first step: “[program] runs [dates], which is outside [season] ([dates]). Link it anyway, or change its dates first.” A Closed, Expired or Archived season is held the same way. Click Link anyway or Leave them out. The Programs tab refuses every program for a Cancelled season, with no override. Taking a program out. On the season’s Programs tab, click the X (Remove from season) on its row (message: Item removed from season), or set the program’s Season to None. If Seasons is turned off later. Programs already in a season still save normally. Memberships and competitions. A membership can sit in several seasons, so adding one never moves it. Competitions follow the one-season rule and are added from the season’s Competitions tab (see editing a competition).
