Must know
  • Switching your billing cycle on the same plan takes effect at your renewal date — either direction — and you keep your current plan and cycle until then.
  • There’s no immediate charge for a cycle switch; you’re billed on the new cycle at your normal renewal.
  • The switch shows as a scheduled-change banner you can undo any time before the date.
Your billing cycle is separate from your plan tier, and you change it in the same place.
1

Open Change Plan

Go to Settings → Billing & Usage → Subscription Billing and click Change Plan.
2

Set the Billing Cycle

In the Change Subscription Plan dialog, keep your plan selected and change Billing Cycle to Monthly or Yearly. Each option shows its price.
3

Confirm the switch

There’s no charge for a cycle switch, so just click Confirm Change. You’ll get a confirmation that the change is scheduled for your renewal date and that you keep your current plan until then.
Why does it wait? You keep the plan and cycle you’ve already paid for until the current period ends, so switching the cycle on the same plan — to yearly or back to monthly — is scheduled for your renewal date rather than charged now. Your new cycle’s price applies at that renewal. A pending switch shows as a banner on your Current Plan card, and you can undo it before the date.
