Must know
  • Invitations expire after 7 days and can be accepted only once.
  • There’s no dedicated cancel or resend button, but you can undo a mistaken invite right away by removing the invited person from the Staff page. Letting the 7-day window lapse does not, on its own, free you to re-invite the same email.
  • A brand-new person sets a password and enters a phone number when accepting; someone who already has an Uplifter account just clicks to join and signs in with their existing password.
When you invite a staff member, Uplifter emails them a link and lists them as Invited on your Staff page until they accept. Accepting the invitation
  • A new person lands on a setup page where they choose a password (with confirmation), enter a Phone Number (required), and accept the terms — their name was already supplied by the admin who invited them, so it isn’t asked for here. On submit, they’re signed in and taken to their portal.
  • Someone who already has an Uplifter account (for example, a coach at another club) sees a page headed Join followed by your organization’s name, confirming the invite. They click Accept Invitation, get a brief Welcome! confirmation, and are then sent to sign in with the password they already use. No new password is created — a second membership is simply added to their existing account.
Once accepted, their status flips from Invited to Active. Expiry and single use Each link works only once and only within 7 days. After that — or after it’s been used — the link shows an error. There’s no dedicated cancel or resend button, but you don’t have to wait it out: on the Staff page, open the invited person’s Actions menu and choose Remove Staff Member (available while they’re still Invited) to delete the pending invite, then send a fresh one. Simply letting the link expire won’t free you to re-invite the same email — the pending staff record blocks a new invite until it’s removed.
