Must know
  • Available on plans that include Email Campaigns — if you don’t see the Email Campaigns area, ask your Uplifter contact.
  • The live recipient count already excludes families who have unsubscribed, and it’s recalculated the moment you send so it reflects opt-outs at that time.
  • A scheduled email campaign sends itself at the time you pick — no one needs to be at their desk, exactly like a scheduled SMS campaign. There’s no in-place “send now” button on a scheduled campaign; the actions available are Duplicate, Cancel, and reschedule.
Open Communication → Email Campaigns and click New Campaign. A three-step wizard walks you through it.
1

Audience

Choose a Send To target — Everyone, Staff, Guardians, Programs, Categories, Memberships, or Custom guardians. A live “recipients will receive this email” count appears, already filtered for opt-outs.
2

Content

Pick a classification, then write your subject and body in the editor. Insert merge variables to personalize each message.
3

Send

Name the campaign and review the summary and branded preview — this is where you confirm it renders and reads cleanly. Then choose one of three actions: the Send to N recipients card (send immediately), Schedule for Later (pick a date and time, interpreted in your club’s timezone), or Save as Draft to finish later.
A scheduled campaign dispatches on its own at the chosen time, so you don’t need to be present for it. If you want a campaign out sooner than its scheduled slot, there’s no in-place “send now” button — Duplicate it instead. The wizard reopens pre-filled with the name, subject, and content, but the audience resets to Everyone, so re-select your recipients on the Audience step before sending the copy. Then Cancel the original if you don’t also want it to fire at its scheduled time.
