Must know
  • There’s no recurring-shift generator you can use from the schedule screens — you record each person’s standard weekly availability, then create the actual shifts yourself.
  • Each staff member has one availability window per weekday (a start and end time).
  • Availability is a planning reference; creating a shift doesn’t enforce it, so you can still schedule someone outside their available hours.
Weekly availability captures the days and times a staff member can normally work, which makes building the recurring schedule far quicker.
1

Open Employee Availability

From the dashboard, open My Organization → Schedules (the page is headed Schedules & Availability) and open the Employee Availability tab. Each staff card shows that person’s current weekly pattern at a glance.
2

Edit a member's availability

Click Edit Availability on a card. Check the days the person is available and set a start and end time for each. Uncheck a day to mark them unavailable, then click Save Changes. Staff can edit their own availability here too — but only if their role can view the staff list (admins by default; Coach, Volunteer, and Accountant roles need the View Staff permission granted, or the tab shows no staff for them).
3

Create the recurring shifts

With availability set, add the repeating shifts week by week from the Shifts & Assignments tab — see Schedule a staff shift.
