Must know
  • Restrictions are enforced at purchase — an athlete who doesn’t qualify can’t buy the membership.
  • Capacity is enforced per billing cycle, with a safeguard so a cycle can’t be oversold even if two people check out at the same moment.
  • Restrictions are checked only when you publish — a draft can be saved with them half-finished.
Eligibility is set in the Requirements & Restrictions card on the membership form. Each restriction is a toggle — turn on only the ones you need, then fill in its values.
  • Age Restriction — set a Minimum Age, Maximum Age, or both. Leave one blank for no limit in that direction (at least one is required).
  • Gender Restriction — select which genders may purchase.
  • Capacity Limit — cap the number of members with a Maximum Capacity. The limit applies to each billing cycle.
  • Medical Information Requirement — require members to provide medical information during checkout. (The categories collected are set in your Medical Information settings.)
  • Level Restriction — require the athlete to be at one of the levels you select. This appears when your Training feature and levels are set up.
  • Waiver Requirement — require members to sign one or more waivers before checkout. If you have no active waivers yet, create one first.
These are the same restriction controls you’ll recognize from setting up a program, so the behavior is consistent across your store. Restrictions govern who can buy the membership. To control when it can be bought, use the purchase window. To require an athlete to hold a membership before registering for a program, that’s set on the program itself.
