Must know
  • Space hours only warn staff who pick that space for a program outside those hours. They never block the save.
  • Facility operating hours can have several blocks per day and show on your club website. A space has one window per day.
  • Deleting a space removes its availability hours and every program and session assignment to it. Its equipment moves to the facility.
  • Managing spaces and hours needs the Edit Settings permission.
Spaces are the rooms or zones inside a facility. Where to find it. Go to Settings > Organization > Facilities and click a facility. Spaces are on the Spaces tab. Facility hours are on the Overview tab.
1

Add a space

On the Spaces tab, click Add Space. In Add New Space, enter Space Name (required), Max Capacity, Status (Open, Closed or Maintenance, starting on Open), a Description and a Calendar Colour. Click Create Space.
2

Set the space's availability

On the space’s card, click Availability Hours. Switch each day open or closed and pick its opening and closing times. A day you switch on for the first time starts at 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and switching a day off and back on restores its earlier times. Days you have changed are highlighted until you save. Click Save Hours.
3

Set facility operating hours

On the facility’s Overview tab, find Operating hours and click Edit hours. Switch a day on to start it at 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (switching it off clears its blocks). Click Add block for a second window on that day and use the X to remove a block. Click Save hours.
Edit or delete a space. Each card shows the space’s status, Max Capacity, description and equipment count. Click the three-dot menu on a card, then Edit (opens Edit Space, click Save) or Delete. Deleting asks you to confirm and cannot be undone. It also removes the space from any holiday closure that was limited to it. Use Search spaces… to find a space by name or description. Calendar Colour. A space’s colour shows on its sessions in the calendar. With no colour set, sessions use the facility’s colour, then the program’s. Click Clear colour to go back to that. Rules for hours. Opening must be before closing, and Uplifter names the day before you save (Open time must be before close time for Monday). Facility blocks on one day cannot overlap: the save is refused with a day number counting from Sunday as 0, so day 2 is Tuesday. Each save replaces the whole week, and a day switched off is closed. Each save is recorded in My Organization > Activity log (see See who changed what), not on the facility’s own Activity tab. What space hours do. When staff pick spaces for a program, a space that is closed on one of the program’s days, or open but not for the program’s whole time, shows a badge such as Closed Mon or 2 days outside hours. Picking it opens Space Warning, which lists each day (for example Mon: Space is closed), with Proceed Anyway. Only spaces set to Open appear in that list, and a space with no hours saved is never flagged. The list also warns when a space is already fully booked. Where facility hours show. Active facilities’ hours appear on your club website’s Facilities page. The store’s pickup details and the order confirmation email for an order with a pickup item show them too, using the first block for each day. Also good to know. On a phone these dialogs open as a bottom panel. A holiday closure can apply to chosen facilities or spaces, not only the whole gym.
