Must know
  • Deleting an athlete is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • It removes all associated data, including attendance records and evaluations.
  • To keep records but retire the athlete, set the status to Inactive instead of deleting.
Deleting is meant for records created in error, not for athletes who have simply stopped attending. When you delete an athlete, everything tied to that record at your club is permanently removed and there is no way to recover it.
1

Open the delete action

On the Athlete Directory, open the athlete’s row menu and choose Delete Athlete.
2

Read the confirmation

A dialog warns that the action cannot be undone and that all associated data — including attendance records and evaluations — will be permanently removed.
3

Confirm

Click Delete to remove the athlete, or Cancel to keep them.
Prefer Inactive for retiring an athlete. If you want to stop an athlete showing up in the everyday roster but keep their history, edit the athlete and set the status to Inactive. Inactive athletes are hidden from the default view but stay fully on record, and you can bring them back at any time.
