Must know
  • A draft needs only a Membership Name. It will not save while Custom Questions or Achievement Requirement is switched on with nothing picked, or when the end date is not after the start date.
  • The form has both Save as Draft and Publish. Publishing with a future Available From date schedules the membership instead.
  • Seasons takes several seasons, so one membership can cover more than one season.
  • The Memberships feature must be on your plan, and your plan may cap how many memberships you can have. Drafts count toward the cap, archived memberships do not.
Where to find it. Go to Athletes > Memberships, then click Create Membership. You need the View Training permission to see the page and Create Training to save.

Fill in the Details card

Enter a Membership Name. Optionally add a Description and a Membership Image. If your club uses Seasons and has at least one, pick one or more in Seasons. Available for purchase online starts on. Tax Exempt starts off; when on, no sales tax is charged, including on renewals. The GL Code list shows only Revenue codes and preselects your default membership code, if set.

Optionally add pricing and restrictions

Pricing & Billing and Requirements & Restrictions are cards on the same form. Billing Interval starts as One-time and Start Date as today. See pricing and billing and who can buy.

Save as Draft or Publish

Save as Draft shows “Membership saved as draft” and returns you to the list. Publish first runs the full publish checks. If one fails, you see what to fix and nothing is saved. Once they pass, it saves and publishes, then shows “Membership published”, or “Membership scheduled” with the date when Available From is in the future. If publishing fails after the save, the draft is kept and opens in Edit.
Good to know. A draft is never on sale and never bills anyone. To keep a membership off your website, turn off Available for purchase online (see hiding a membership). At your plan limit, saving shows “Membership types limit reached.” If your club uses Ask Hero, it can prepare a draft for you to confirm.
