  • Five kinds. Require a program enrollment, booking reservation, event ticket, store purchase or competition entry the family (or this athlete) already has.
  • Each rule is tunable. Set what counts, over what time (any time, this season, or between dates) and how strict it is: Refuse early (default), Refuse at checkout, or Warn only.
  • Staff aren’t blocked. Staff selling on a family’s behalf are warned, never stopped.
  • Saved programs. Edit purchase conditions on the program page’s Overview tab and click Save purchase conditions.
Where to find it. On a new or draft program, or through Edit step-by-step on a live one, Purchase conditions is a section of the Requirements step. On a live program, it’s also a card on the program page’s Overview tab (Registrations > Programs). An Application Required program has no Requirements step: once it’s live, set its purchase conditions on the Overview tab instead.

Switch on a card

Turn on Program enrollment, Booking reservation, Event ticket, Store purchase or Competition entry. A card shows only when its feature is on and there’s something to pick.

Pick what qualifies and who must have it

Pick the items that count. With two or more, tick All selections must be satisfied for this requirement to be met. to need every one. Under Who must have it, choose Anyone in the family or This athlete only. Store purchases and event tickets always check the whole family.

Set Counts when and Looking at

Counts when lists the qualifying statuses. By default, enrolled counts (paid or not); waitlisted or cancelled doesn’t. Looking at is Any time, This season only (clubs using seasons) or Between dates (From, To or both). “This season” is the season current on the day the family buys.

Choose How strict and Applies to

Pick a strictness (see below). On a Full & Drop-in program, Applies to sets Both, Full enrollment only or Drop-ins only.

Save

In the step-by-step editor, they save with the program. On the Overview tab, click Save purchase conditions. A switched-on card needs at least one pick.
How strict. Each rule has its own: Getting the missing thing. A missing store item or event ticket is offered right there and added to the cart, marked Required by the program. A missing enrollment, booking or competition entry is never added: the family is linked to register for it first. What families see. The program card on your club website shows a Purchase required label (not for Warn only rules), and the program page lists each condition under Before you get this program. At checkout, an unmet rule appears under Before you can pay, or under Heads up with “You can still buy this.” if it’s Warn only. Also on the Overview tab. Required by lists anything that requires this program. Its Family membership and Family pass cards (anyone in the family holds one) have no How strict choice. Store products and ticket types do. Other places. The same cards appear on bookings, events, competitions, memberships, passes, competition events (Entry conditions), and saved store products and ticket types.
