  • Plan feature. Available on plans that include Competitions (off by default).
  • Built on a sport. Every competition is tied to a sport, and its events come from that sport’s catalog of events by age category.
  • Entries arrive approved. Entries come from paid registrations on your club website and arrive Approved, seed marks included. Results are recorded afterward by staff and stay admin-only.
  • No refunds from the invoice. Competition entries can’t be refunded from the invoice refund dialog yet.
A competition is a meet you run end to end: you pick a sport, choose which of its events athletes can enter, publish to your club website, take registrations, optionally collect seed marks, and record results afterward. Where things live. Open Registrations > Competitions and select Add Competition. A competition’s page has a Settings button, Entries, Results and Categories tiles, and tabs for Overview, Athletes, Events, Transactions, Reports and Results. The Reports tab is a placeholder. You record results and see each entry’s seed mark under Athletes > Results. The builder. The steps are Season (when seasons are on), General, Categories, Restrictions, Results, Pricing, Registration and Confirmation. You pick the sport as Competition Type on General, or it is selected for you when your club has only one sport. Events. On Categories, you cross the sport’s events (for example 100m or Long Jump) with the sport’s age categories. You can’t add gender rules or your own category templates to a competition. Relay events are team events, with a default team size of 4. Requirements. On Restrictions, you can require a level, age, membership, waiver, medical information, files, or an Achievement Requirement. For levels, achievements and memberships, tick the box to require all selections. Leave it clear to accept any one. On the Overview tab, the Purchase conditions card sets what a family must already have bought or attended. Each event page has an Entry conditions card for one event. Staff can always override either at checkout. What families do. Only competitions published Live take registrations. Families pick an athlete (Select Athlete) and events (Select Events), then see only the steps the competition needs: Seed Marks, Also Required, Sign Waivers, Custom Info, Medical Info and File Upload. They finish at Review & Add to Cart. Outside the registration window, checkout says “Registration has closed” or “Registration is not yet open”, unless the family enters the early access code. Checks at checkout. Each event’s age range is checked, and an athlete can’t enter the same event twice. A qualifying mark is shown to families but isn’t enforced. The seed mark they submit is approved automatically. You can see it next to the athlete’s entry under Athletes > Results; there is no approval step. Entries and capacity. An entry is one athlete in one event, created when payment lands. Capacity counts entries, so one athlete in three events uses three places. If the competition is full by the time payment lands, that athlete’s entries aren’t created. Athletes and your roster. An athlete a guardian creates with Add New Athlete on your club website joins your roster right away, before payment. An existing athlete from the family’s profile joins when checkout completes. Results. On Athletes > Results, Record Result takes one athlete with an approved entry and one number: milliseconds for a time, millimetres for a distance or height, or a score. You can’t enter placement or DNF, DNS and DQ. See How do I record competition results?. Who can do what. Any staff member can view competitions, entries and results. Creating a competition and recording results needs Create Events. Editing a competition needs Edit Events. Deleting needs Delete Events, and only Draft competitions can be deleted. What guardians see. The family portal shows competition registrations and dates under Registrations and Schedule. Results aren’t shown.
