Must know
- There’s no customer-facing list of available codes — families type the code in themselves, so share it with them however you run the promotion.
- Customers can enter more than one code, but only one discount applies per cart line — codes don’t stack on the same item.
- Each code gets instant accept-or-reject feedback before payment, so families know it worked.
1
Find the Discount Code box
On the checkout page there’s a Discount Code field with an Enter code placeholder, next to an Apply button.
2
Type the code and apply
The customer types the code (it’s uppercased automatically) and clicks Apply or presses Enter. Uplifter checks it live against the cart.
3
Read the feedback
An accepted code shows a green confirmation with the code name (for example, “SUMMER10 applied”) and the discount appears as a Discount line in the totals. A code that doesn’t fit shows an amber or red note (see the related troubleshooting article). Customers can add another code the same way, or Remove one.
4
Pay
The total updates with the savings applied. When the customer pays, the discount is confirmed on the order and its usage is recorded.
