Must know
  • There’s no customer-facing list of available codes — families type the code in themselves, so share it with them however you run the promotion.
  • Customers can enter more than one code, but only one discount applies per cart line — codes don’t stack on the same item.
  • Each code gets instant accept-or-reject feedback before payment, so families know it worked.
Codes are entered on the storefront checkout page, in the order summary. Here’s the family’s experience so you can guide them.
1

Find the Discount Code box

On the checkout page there’s a Discount Code field with an Enter code placeholder, next to an Apply button.
2

Type the code and apply

The customer types the code (it’s uppercased automatically) and clicks Apply or presses Enter. Uplifter checks it live against the cart.
3

Read the feedback

An accepted code shows a green confirmation with the code name (for example, “SUMMER10 applied”) and the discount appears as a Discount line in the totals. A code that doesn’t fit shows an amber or red note (see the related troubleshooting article). Customers can add another code the same way, or Remove one.
4

Pay

The total updates with the savings applied. When the customer pays, the discount is confirmed on the order and its usage is recorded.
Because only one discount applies per line, entering a second code only helps if it matches a different item in the cart. A family can’t stack two codes on the same program or membership.
