Must know
- Available on plans that include Store — if you don’t see it, ask your Uplifter contact.
- Once a product has variants, the variants own the stock — the product’s overall inventory field is cleared.
- A variant with no price falls back to the product’s Base Price.
- Each variant carries its own price override, image, and inventory count.
1
Turn on Product Type
Click Add Product to open the Add New Product dialog (or open an existing product’s Edit Product dialog), then switch on Product Type (“Enable to add options like sizes, colors, or fits”).
2
Name the type
Enter a Type Name, such as
Size, Color, or Fit. This is the label buyers see when choosing an option.3
Add each option
Under Options, fill in a Label (for example
Red or Large). Optionally set a Price override for that option, a Max and Current inventory count, and a Variant Image. Leave both inventory fields blank for unlimited stock. Click Add Option to add more.4
Save
Click Add Product or Save Changes. On the storefront the button reads Select [your type name] (for example Select Size) until the buyer picks an option, then it becomes Add to Cart — [price].
