Must know
  • Available on plans that include Events — if you don’t see it, ask your Uplifter contact.
  • On the Requirements step, only the gender restriction, required membership(s), capacity, and file-upload requirement are saved. The age, level, waiver, and medical toggles are shown but are not persisted — enforce those elsewhere if you need them.
  • Events don’t carry a price of their own, and the registration flow doesn’t charge attendees. To collect money you invoice families separately — the standard invoice form can’t be tied to a specific event, so an event’s GL code isn’t applied to those invoices automatically.
Events are one-off happenings — a clinic, party, tryout, meeting, or a stand-alone class — separate from your recurring programs. Create one from Registrations → Events, then click Add Event.
1

Fill in the General step

Enter an event name (required), an optional description, a color, and a category. Choose an Event Type — Class, Clinic, Party, Tryout, Meeting, or Other — and optionally pick a GL code. The step also shows a Price field, but events don’t actually carry a price — anything you type there isn’t saved. To reuse another event’s setup, click Copy from Existing and pick a source event.
2

Set the Schedule

Pick the event date, start time, and end time (the end must be after the start). Optionally choose a Location from your facilities, or leave it as no specific location.
3

Add Requirements

Toggle on the restrictions you want. Remember that only gender, required membership, capacity, and file-upload requirements are actually saved.
4

Assign Staff (optional) and create

Add staff on the final step, then click Create Event. See Assign staff to an event for roles and certification rules.
