Must know
  • Plan feature and permission. Needs Event Ticketing. Reassigning, reissuing, overriding max uses and voiding need the Manage Tickets permission.
  • Voiding can’t be undone. The ticket stops scanning for good. If it was never used and its type has limited seats, the seat goes back into inventory.
  • Reissuing breaks the old link. If a new link is shown, copy it then: it can’t be shown again.
Where to find it. Go to Registrations > Events, open the event and select its Check-in tab. In the Tickets table, search by serial or holder and open the row’s Actions menu, which also offers Manual redeem (or Check in). A voided ticket has no actions.
1

Reassign the holder

Choose Reassign, offered until the ticket is first used. The Reassign [serial] dialog shows the type and current holder. For an athletes-only type, pick an Athlete from your club roster. For general admission, choose Org athlete or Guest name. The athlete must meet the type’s age, level and membership limits and the event’s gender rule. Click Save to see “Ticket reassigned”.
2

Reissue or resend the ticket

Choose Reissue / resend and confirm with Reissue. A ticket bought with an email address is sent again: “Resend queued - the ticket will be re-emailed shortly.” Otherwise the Ticket reissued dialog shows the new link once. Copy it with Copy ticket link.
3

Override max uses

Choose Override max uses to change how many times the ticket can be used. The dialog shows the uses redeemed so far. Enter a new Max uses, at least 1 and not below the uses already redeemed, and click Save.
4

Void the ticket

Choose Void and confirm with Void ticket. The row stays in the table with the status Void. At the door it scans as “This ticket has been voided.”, and staff can’t override that.
The audit log. Above the Tickets table, the Audit log lists each Void, Reissue, Reassign and Override max with the time, serial and who made it (System if automatic). A reassign also shows the old and new holder. Load more shows older entries. Export the roster. Export roster downloads a CSV of the event’s tickets, voided ones included, with holder, status and uses. Past 10,000 tickets, the file ends with a line saying it was truncated. Ticket reports. Reports > Ticketing has Event Ticket Sales & Check-In and Scanner Link Activity, both needing the View Tickets permission. A report that hits its row limit says so. Deleting the event. An event with ticket sales can’t be deleted. Deactivate its ticket types instead.
