Must know
  • Deactivate and Remove both ask you to confirm; Reactivate happens in one click with no confirmation.
  • You can’t remove or deactivate yourself, and you can’t deactivate or remove the organization’s last active admin — Uplifter blocks both with an error so no one gets locked out.
  • Removing someone only affects this organization; their Uplifter account and any memberships in other clubs are untouched.
On the Staff page, open a person’s Actions menu (the ”…” button) to manage their access. Deactivate a staff member Choose Deactivate Staff Member and confirm. They immediately lose access to this organization’s admin and coach portals, and their upcoming coach assignments, event assignments, and shifts are removed. Timesheets, certifications, and history are preserved. Use this for someone who’s leaving temporarily or seasonally. Reactivate a staff member For an inactive person, choose Reactivate Staff Member. Access is restored right away — but any assignments that were removed at deactivation are not brought back. Remove a staff member Choose Remove Staff Member and confirm. This permanently deletes their staff record for this organization, including schedules, time entries, and certifications, and cannot be undone. Their account and any other organizations they belong to are unaffected. If the person is also a guardian of an athlete here, they aren’t deleted — they stay on as a guardian, but their staff access and upcoming assignments are still removed. If the person is referenced by incident reports, removal is blocked and you’ll be prompted to deactivate them instead so those records are preserved. Prefer Deactivate unless you’re sure. Send a password reset For an active or invited member, choose Send Password Reset to email them a link to set a new password. Related: Invite a staff member · Set staff roles and permissions
