Must know
  • Email campaigns are a plan feature. Available on plans that include Email Campaigns — if you don’t see the Email Campaigns area, ask your Uplifter contact.
  • Only the General and Newsletter classifications count as marketing and carry an unsubscribe link. Receipts and billing notices are transactional: they skip the marketing opt-out, but an address that has permanently bounced or filed a spam complaint is still blocked platform-wide.
  • Campaigns are sent from a noreply Uplifter address with your club’s email set as the Reply-To, so replies reach you and deliverability stays aligned.
Email campaigns let you send branded, personalized email to your whole community — newsletters, schedule changes, season announcements, and more. You’ll find them under Communication → Email Campaigns. Each campaign is rendered into a branded template that carries your logo, colors, and contact footer, then personalized per recipient with merge variables (athlete name, program, and so on). Delivery, opens, and clicks are tracked so you can see how each send performed. Marketing vs. transactional. When you compose a campaign you choose a classification. Only General and Newsletter are treated as marketing: they include a one-click unsubscribe link, and anyone who has unsubscribed from your club is automatically left out. Everything else — receipts, payment notices, program and membership updates — is transactional: it skips both the plan feature check and your club’s marketing opt-out, because a customer must be told when money moves or their account changes. The one exception is a platform-wide block: if an address permanently bounced or reported spam, even transactional email won’t be sent to it. Because campaigns send from a verified Uplifter address (with your club as the Reply-To), your messages authenticate correctly and land in inboxes rather than spam, while a family’s reply still comes straight back to you.
