Must know
  • You set the person’s access when you invite them — pick a role template, then fine-tune the permission toggles. Choosing the Admin template grants everything and locks the toggles on; the other templates leave them editable. You can change their role and individual permissions later from Edit Permissions or Edit Staff Member in the staff list.
  • The invitation link in the email expires after 7 days and can be used only once.
  • Uplifter matches email addresses regardless of capitalization or extra spaces. If the address already belongs to a staff member, you’ll be told they’re already a member (or, if they were deactivated, prompted to reactivate them from the staff list) instead of creating a duplicate. If it belongs to a family (guardian) account, the invitation adds staff access to that existing account instead of blocking — the person keeps their family login.
  • The email address can be changed later from the Edit Permissions dialog in the staff list; when it changes, Uplifter emails the previous address to confirm.
Add anyone who needs access to your admin or coach portal — coaches, front-desk staff, accountants, or volunteers — by sending them an invitation.
1

Open the Staff page

From the dashboard, go to Staff, then click Add Staff Member.
2

Enter their details

Fill in Full Name, Email Address, and an optional Title (for example, “Head Coach” or “Front Desk”).
3

Set their access

Pick a Role Template — Admin, Coach, Accountant, or Volunteer — to pre-fill a sensible set of permissions, or choose Custom to hand-pick each permission yourself, then switch individual Granular Permissions on or off to tailor what they can see and do. Choosing Admin grants everything and locks the toggles on; the other templates leave them editable. See Set staff roles and permissions.
4

Send the invitation

Click Invite Staff Member. Uplifter emails an invitation with a link. Until they accept, the person shows as Invited in your staff list.
The invitee clicks the link to set up (or join with) their account. What they see next depends on whether they already have an Uplifter account — see What happens after I send a staff invitation?.
