Must know
  • Where it is. Open the pass, go to Family holdings and click Issue pass. Choose the Family, a Start date and an optional End date.
  • It’s free. No invoice, payment or automatic renewal is created. It adds a separate holding with the pass’s full credits.
  • Who can do it. You need the Edit Training and View Families permissions, and the pass must be Active. Restore an archived pass first.
  • Passes is a plan feature. If Settings > Registration has no Passes, it isn’t on your club’s plan. Contact Uplifter support.
When to use it. To give a coach’s or staff member’s family a free pass, replace a pass without charging again, or hand out a pass you don’t sell online. It works whether or not Available for purchase online is on. To charge instead, add a pass line to a manual invoice.

4

Confirm

Click Issue pass. You see “Family pass issued” and the holding appears on Family holdings.
What it creates. A new holding with the pass’s full credits or unlimited use. Nothing is billed, so its row has no Original payer, and My Organization > Activity log records who issued it. It never stops the family buying the same pass online later. How the end date works. With no end date, the holding doesn’t expire. With one, it expires once that date passes and drops off Family holdings. It never renews. An end before the start is refused: “End date must be on or after the start date.” Can I top up an existing holding? No. Each issue creates a new, separate holding with full credits, and you can’t issue to several families at once.
