Must know
  • Change the address in the Uplifter Subdomain field on Settings > Website > General, then click Save Changes. Saving needs the Edit Settings permission.
  • Your old address stops working the moment you save and is not redirected. Update shared links, printed material and emails that use it.
  • Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only. A red icon means the address is taken (or reserved), invalid, or could not be checked.
  • If your plan includes Custom Domains, you add a custom domain separately in the Custom domain card. It does not replace your Uplifter address.

Open the General page

Go to Settings > Website > General. Domain Settings is the first card.

Type your new address

Click the Uplifter Subdomain field and type the address you want. The .uplifter.app ending stays the same. Spaces turn into hyphens, but capital letters are not changed, so type in lowercase.

Wait for the availability check

About half a second after you stop typing, a spinner shows, then a green check means the address is free. A red icon shows one of these messages: This subdomain is already taken. (also shown for reserved words), Only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens allowed., or Error checking subdomain availability.

Save Changes

Click Save Changes at the top right. While the icon is red, you see Please fix subdomain issues before saving and nothing is saved. On success you see Website configuration saved.
The old address is gone as soon as you save. Anyone who opens it sees a not-found page, so saved links, flyers and old emails break. Your club’s own program and enrollment links, and any custom domain you have connected, follow the new address automatically.
If the save fails. If another club claims the address just before you save, or you do not have Edit Settings, you see Failed to save changes. Pick another address or ask an admin for access. Before you go live. An unpublished site’s address shows “This website is not published yet. Please check back soon.” Do not clear the field. If you empty it and save, your site can no longer be reached. If your site is not live yet, Go Live stays disabled until you set an address. Your club’s name. Domain Settings also shows your Public Name. Change it with the Organization settings link under it. Your own domain. The Custom domain card sits just below Domain Settings. It adds your own address (like www.yourclub.com) on top of your Uplifter address.
