Must know
  • An athlete can have several guardians, and exactly one is marked Primary.
  • The same guardian can be linked to athletes at multiple clubs — the family relationship spans organizations.
  • The guardian picker searches existing guardians only; reassigning the primary guardian requires the athlete to belong to your current club.
A guardian is the parent or caregiver account tied to an athlete. Guardians manage their children in the parent portal — registrations, payments, and profile details — while your staff see and manage them from the admin dashboard. Primary vs additional guardians. Each athlete has one Primary guardian and can have additional guardians linked as well. On the athlete’s Overview tab, the Guardians card lists everyone linked, with a Primary badge on the primary and each guardian’s relationship (for example, Parent). Families span clubs. Because a guardian account belongs to the person, the same guardian can be connected to athletes at more than one club. Updates a guardian makes to shared details carry across the clubs their children attend. Linking a guardian. When you add or edit an athlete, the Guardian field searches guardians who already exist in your club — there’s no create-new option in that picker, so add or invite the guardian first, then link them. Reassigning an athlete’s primary guardian is only possible when the athlete belongs to your current club.
