Must know
  • Two plan features. You need Event Ticketing as well as Store, which includes the point of sale.
  • General admission only. Only active general admission types on Published events dated today or later show at the register. Athletes-only types sell online.
  • Untick named attendees. A type with Require a named attendee before the ticket can be scanned ticked (the default) shows here but can’t be paid for. Untick it before the type sells: after that it’s locked.
  • Links show once. If you leave the customer email blank, open or print each ticket link on the success screen and hand it over.
Where to find it. Tap Tickets in the register’s category row. Events are listed soonest first, with a button per type showing its name, price and “N left”, or Sold out. Nothing to sell shows “No ticketed events” with a link to Events. Past 50 events, only the 50 soonest are listed and the register says so.
1

Pick a type and quantity

Tap the type and set Quantity with + and -, up to the seats left and the type’s Max per order. Max per guardian doesn’t apply here.
2

Add an email, or leave it blank

Fill in Customer email (optional) to send the tickets as a claim link (an invalid address shows “Enter a valid email address”), then tap Add to cart. “Tickets added to cart” confirms it.
3

Take payment

Tap Cash or Card. If Card opens Card Terminal, tap Use QR code instead: a card terminal can’t charge tickets, so the customer pays with Scan to Pay.
4

Hand over the tickets

With no email, the Payment Successful! screen lists Ticket 1, Ticket 2 and so on: “Open or print each link and give it to the customer - these are shown only once.” Do it before you tap New Order. Lost one? Reissue it from the event’s Check-in tab.
If payment fails. The Payment Failed screen says why, such as a type that needs attendee names or is outside its sales window. If a type sells out mid-sale. On a card sale, the success screen adds “N tickets couldn’t be seated” and says either that a refund was issued automatically or that you must refund the customer from the payment link. Where the money goes. Revenue posts to the ticket type’s GL code, then the event’s, then your club’s default GL code for events.
