Must know
  • No embedding. Uplifter pages can’t be placed inside another website, so link to them instead.
  • One address. To keep a single address, serve your Uplifter site on your own domain with the Custom domain card. It needs the Custom Domains plan feature.
  • Direct links. Links from your current site can go straight to your Programs, Store, or Calendar page, or to a single program.
  • A tab back. With the Website Customization plan feature, add a tab back to your old site with Add External Link on Settings > Website > Navigation.
Where your Uplifter site lives. Your club website is at the free address in the Uplifter Subdomain field on Settings > Website > General (for example, mygym.uplifter.app). Why you can’t embed. Browsers refuse to show Uplifter pages inside a frame on another website, so embedding your Uplifter site in another site won’t work. There’s no embed code in Settings > Website either. Publish first. Until you click Go Live on Settings > Website > General, every link to your site shows “This website is not published yet. Please check back soon.” See How do I publish my website and take it live? Link from your current site.
1

Open the page on your Uplifter site

On your published site, open the page visitors should land on, such as Programs, Store, Calendar, or a single program.
2

Copy its address

Copy the address from your browser’s address bar.
3

Add the link to your current site

Paste it into a button or menu link on your current site.
A program hidden from your site’s listings still opens from its direct link, so you can link to it too. With Website Customization, a visible custom page lives at your site’s address plus the page’s Address, such as mygym.uplifter.app/about-us. Serve your Uplifter site on your own domain. When your plan includes Custom Domains, the Custom domain card appears on Settings > Website > General. Type your www address (such as www.yourclub.com) into Your web address and click Claim. Your domain without www (yourclub.com) can forward to it: set that up with the company you bought the domain from. Families can sign in, register, and check out on your domain too. For the settings to add at that company (DNS records), see How do I use my own domain for my club website? Add a tab back to your old site.
1

Open Navigation

Go to Settings > Website > Navigation. You see it only with Website Customization.
2

Add the link

Click Add External Link. Enter a Label (up to 40 characters) and your old site’s full Address, such as https://www.yourclub.com, then click Add Link.
3

Save

Check the new tab in the Preview card, then click Save Navigation. The tab opens your old site in a new browser tab.
