Must know
  • A pass shows on your website’s Passes page only when it is active, Available for purchase online is on, the Passes page is on (click Save Changes on the Pages screen) and your website is published.
  • Buyers choose the Family that will own the pass, sign its waivers before it goes in the cart, and answer its questions at checkout.
  • When a program requires a pass, families can still buy it inside that program’s registration even if the Passes page is off.
  • Archive a pass to stop selling it without affecting families who already hold it.
Before you start. If Passes is missing under Settings > Registration, it is not on your plan or you lack permission. The Pages screen needs Edit Settings; editing a pass needs Edit Training.

Turn on online sales for the pass

Go to Settings > Registration > Passes and click the pass. On the Details tab, turn on Available for purchase online, then click Save Changes. New passes start with this on. When it is off, only an admin can give the pass, with Issue pass or a manual invoice.

Show the Passes page

Go to Settings > Website > Pages, turn on the Passes card, then click Save Changes at the top. It is on by default. Your website must also be published.
Where it appears. Passes sits under a Shop menu when two or more of Store, Passes, Memberships and Gift Cards have something to sell, or as its own Passes link when it is the only one. The link disappears when no pass is on sale (changes can take a short while to show). With a saved custom menu, add Passes on the Navigation screen. What families see. Each card shows the name, an Unlimited or Credits badge, a coverage line (such as Valid for 3 programs, counting only programs listed on your site and past their go-live time), the price and Add to Cart. Monthly and annual passes charge the full price at checkout, then renew on your club’s billing schedule. What buyers go through. Add to Cart first shows Checking requirements…. If the pass has waivers, the buyer signs in, picks an athlete and signs the waivers. A pass already in the cart shows Already in cart. A buyer with more than one Family picks the owner under Purchase belongs to; a buyer with none sees A Family is required to own this pass. and a link to create or join one. Set waivers on the pass’s Requirements tab (Pass purchase requirements); choose custom questions on the Details tab. Family side: How do I buy a pass?. Programs that require a pass. Checkout refuses a pass the buyer already holds for the same Family and can still use. See Buying a pass already held. Stop selling. Turn off Available for purchase online, or archive the pass. Archiving takes it off sale right away and leaves every holding as it is; Restore pass puts it back. Turning online sales off also makes checkout refuse the pass in carts.
