  • One page for nearly everything. Promo codes and all automatic discounts, including Family / sibling discounts, are built on Settings > Financials > Discounts.
  • One exception. The only discount still set on a program is the Session Discount (multi-session), under Discounts on the program’s Billing step or Billing tab.
  • One discount per item. A Discounts-page rule and a program’s session discount never stack. The better one applies.
A promo code is a discount families type in at checkout. An automatic discount has no code and applies by itself when the order meets its rules. Better one wins.
  • Typed codes go first. An automatic discount replaces a code only when it saves strictly more (a tie keeps the code). If the code loses every item, checkout says “A better automatic discount replaced [CODE].”
  • Against a session discount, an Every charge rule on a recurring item can win even if it saves less on the first charge.
What families see. A typed code shows “[CODE] applied”. An automatic discount shows its name and why it applied, such as “[campaign name] - 2 athletes enrolled”. On the invoice, codes and automatic discounts read “Discount: [campaign name]”, and a session discount reads “Multi-session discount (N sessions)”. Family / sibling discounts in brief. This rule discounts the additional athletes when one family has two or more qualifying athletes. On Athlete count, an At least row can count This order or Across the family’s active enrollments (active enrollments, memberships and passes, plus this order). An At most row always counts this order. Existing enrollments count only when the family is signed in, so a signed-out shopper can see “Sign in to apply family discounts”. Count usage by (Orders per owning Family or Qualifying items per customer) can’t be changed once the discount exists. Full model: How do Family and sibling discounts work?. Multi-class discounts. This automatic type rewards two or more programs in one order, or one athlete with two current enrollments. Session Discounts on a program. Find Discounts on the program’s Billing step, or under Configure > Billing for an existing program.
  • Click Add session discount, set Min sessions, Type ($ or %) and Amount, then click Add. You can add up to 5, and a repeated quantity is refused: “A session discount for that quantity already exists”.
  • The highest tier the athlete reaches applies.
  • Tiers appear only on Sign up per class programs, or Full & Drop-in programs with a paid drop-in price (discounting drop-ins only), never on free programs.
  • It is not always on: a guardian who used a tier on a paid invoice isn’t offered it again.
Family discounts card. The same section has a Family discounts card. Manage Family discounts opens Discounts filtered to that program, shared rules included, and Create discount there starts with Scope on Programs and that program picked. An unsaved program says “Save this program first, then add its Family discount from Discounts.” Sibling discounts set on a program. A program that had its own sibling discount now uses an automatic discount with the same amounts and recipients. Those program rows are read-only, and the program can be archived but not deleted.
