Must know
  • Checkout blocks you from re-buying a pass you still hold with a usable balance.
  • An expired or used-up pass you hold is refreshed in place — not granted twice.
  • Duplicate pass lines in one cart collapse to a single line (“Already in cart”).
  • Available on plans that include Passes — if you don’t see it, ask your Uplifter contact.
Uplifter keeps one person from accidentally buying the same pass twice, which is why an admin sometimes hears “why can’t I buy this again?” If the guardian checking out already holds the pass and it’s still usable — an unlimited pass within its window, or a credit pass with credits left — checkout won’t let them buy it again. There’s nothing to add; the pass they hold already works. If their pass has expired or run out of credits, buying it again doesn’t create a second pass. Instead the existing pass is refreshed in place: credits reset to the full allocation, the status returns to active, a new validity window starts, and auto-renew is re-armed. That guardian ends up with one working pass, not two. Within a single cart, if the same pass somehow gets added more than once, the duplicate lines merge into one and the storefront shows an Already in cart guard so the family isn’t charged twice for it. This guard is per guardian, not per family. If two guardians of the same athlete each have their own login, each can independently buy and hold their own copy of the same pass — so a family can legitimately end up with two, which is why support sometimes sees “why do we have two of these?” Related: What happens when a pass expires? · What happens when a recurring pass renews? · How do I see who holds a pass and their credits?
