Must know
  • Available on plans that include Competitions (defaults off) — if you don’t see it, ask your Uplifter contact.
  • Uplifter always recomputes the price at checkout on the server — the amount shown in the browser is never trusted, so registrants can’t be charged the wrong amount.
  • Assign a GL code so competition revenue is tracked in your financials.
Set pricing on the Pricing step of the competition builder. Pick one of five modes:
  • Free — no registration fee.
  • Flat Fee — one flat entry fee per athlete, no matter how many events they enter.
  • Per Event — a set price for each event an athlete enters.
  • Tiered — a price per event that changes by how many events the athlete enters (event-count bands), so entering more events can lower the per-event price.
  • Per Category — a price set individually on each event/category.
Where the price is stored depends on the mode. Flat Fee and Per Event use a single entry-fee field (labeled “Competition Entry Fee” or “Price Per Event”). Tiered prices live on the tiers you define, and Per Category prices live on each individual category.
