Must know
  • All four scope categories — Passes, Memberships, Programs, and Store — are always available in the picker, whether or not you actively sell each type. Pick the ones the code should cover.
  • Leaving a category’s item list empty means the code applies to every item in that category.
  • Events, competitions, and bookings can’t be discounted by a promo code.
Scope controls which things a discount code can be used on. You set it on the General step of the discount wizard.
1

Choose the scope categories

Open the Scope picker and select one or more of Passes, Memberships, Programs, and Store. Selecting all of them shows as All products — the code then applies across every category.
2

Optionally narrow to specific items

When you pick a proper subset (not all categories), an item picker appears for each selected category — for example, a Programs items list. Choose the specific programs, memberships, passes, or store products the code should cover. Leave a list empty to include everything in that category.
A code only ever discounts lines that match its scope and item list. If a family’s cart has nothing that matches, the code simply won’t apply to that order — it isn’t an error. Automatic sibling and multi-session discounts are configured on the program itself, not here — see the related article below.
