Must know
- Achievements and badges are part of Training. Find them under Settings > Training, on plans that include Training.
- Conditions award automatically. An achievement with conditions is awarded when an athlete meets every one. One with none can only be awarded by hand.
- Awards stay hidden from families until someone with Publish Achievements publishes them, unless the achievement has Publish awards automatically on.
- Deleting a badge removes it from every athlete who holds it. You can’t delete one while an achievement still grants it.
1
Create the achievement
Click New Achievement. Enter a Name (for example “First Competition”) and optionally a Description, Badge image and Color. Leave Publish awards automatically off so awards wait in Awaiting publish, or turn it on so every award goes straight to the family. Click Create. The achievement opens on its Rule tab, beside Awarded athletes and (for publishers) Awaiting publish.
2
Set how athletes earn it
Award this achievement automatically starts on. Under How athletes earn it, switch on each condition you want and pick its values: Gender, Age, Membership and Pass (shown when your club uses memberships and passes), Waiver, Medical information, Holds level (holds or has completed), Holds achievement (published awards only) or Completed evaluation (on the templates you pick).Combining conditions. Every condition you switch on must be met. Within one condition, any one pick counts. To require all, tick All selections must be satisfied for this requirement to be met. (offered once you pick two or more, except for Gender).
3
Choose what earning it grants
Under What earning it grants, pick Grant these levels, Mark these levels completed (the level moves to the athlete’s history) and Grant these badges. These apply on every award, and revoking one never takes them back.
4
Save the rule
Click Save changes.
- Keep requiring it (recommended): athletes who already hold it still pass, and staff can still award it by hand.
- Stop requiring this achievement: it’s removed from every rule, and a rule left accepting nothing switches off.
