Must know
  • Some programs require something else first: an earlier registration, booking, event ticket, store item or competition entry. The program page lists each one under Before you get this program.
  • A required store item or event ticket can be added while you register, on the Also Required step. A required program, booking or competition entry can’t: register for it first.
  • Your club decides how strict each condition is: it can block you right away, stop you at payment, or only warn you.
What this is. A program, event ticket or store item can require an earlier program enrollment, booking, event ticket, store purchase or competition entry, sometimes only within this season or a date range. The club chooses whether the athlete must have it or anyone in your family can. Something already in your cart counts too. Memberships and passes have their own article. Before you start. A program card shows a Purchase required label when a missing purchase would stop you at checkout. The program page lists every condition under Before you get this program, even when you’re signed out, for example Requires enrolled in “Pre-Team” (this season), followed by what happens if you don’t have it. Store items and tickets show the same panel. What the register flow adds for you. A missing store item or event ticket gets its own Also Required step: “This program requires something else in your order. It is added alongside the program and stays with it.” Continue stays disabled until it’s ready. Your cart marks it Required by the program; removing the program removes it too. What you need to do first. A missing program enrollment, booking or competition entry can’t be bought here. Register for it, then come back. What the block looks like. If your club blocks it before the cart (the default), the Select Athlete step lists the athlete under Ineligible for this program, with a link and a message such as Signing up “Kia” for “Level 2” requires “Pre-Team”, and no one in your family is enrolled in it. Please register for it first, or contact the organization. A program the club hasn’t listed reads “This requires a program the gym has not listed. Please contact the organization.” Signed out at checkout. If checkout stops you, it asks you to sign in so the club can see what your family already has. Joining a waitlist. The Also Required step doesn’t appear on a waitlist join. If your club checks requirements when you join, a missing purchase stops the join: “Joining a waitlist cannot include that purchase, so please complete it first and then join.” Related: Why does a program or purchase require a pass or membership? · Why can’t I register my athlete for a program? · What information do I need to complete registration?
