Must know
  • Monthly and Yearly passes renew and bill automatically. One-time and Per Session passes you buy have no end date.
  • A pass your club gives you can have an end date without ever renewing. The Family page line Renews on its existing billing schedule shows which passes renew.
  • If a renewal payment keeps failing, the pass is suspended and stops lowering prices.
  • You can’t renew or stop an auto-renewing pass from the family portal. Ask your club.
Where to check. Open Family in the sidebar (on a phone, under More) and find the Family passes and punch cards card. Each pass shows a status badge, Valid from, and either Expires with a date or No expiry. Only a pass that renews on its own shows Renews on its existing billing schedule. An Expires date alone does not mean it renews. An athlete’s Passes section shows only usable passes, so an expired or suspended pass drops out of it. Which passes renew. Monthly and Yearly passes you buy renew each cycle. One-time and Per Session passes you buy never renew. A pass your club gives you at no charge has no invoice and never renews, but it can have an end date, after which it shows as expired. What happens at renewal.
  • Your card on file is charged. A heads-up email goes out 3 days before, unless your club turned it off.
  • Once the charge goes through, the pass runs another cycle and a Credits pass resets to its own count. Credits never roll over.
  • If your club changes a pass, it picks what current holders get: the change right away, the change at your next renewal (only when a pass switches between Credits and Unlimited), or, for a new credit count, your old count until you buy again.
  • If your club bills on one set day each month, a new Monthly pass is covered at no extra charge until that day and renews on it.
  • With no card on file, the renewal arrives as an invoice under Invoices.
For the next charge, open Billing Details > Subscriptions. An overdue charge shows Due and a Past due badge. If a renewal payment fails. The charge is tried again. With a club grace period, retries run inside it and the pass is suspended when it ends unpaid. With no grace period, the pass is suspended once the retries run out. A suspended pass shows expired, stops lowering prices, and leaves the athlete’s Passes section. It comes back when the renewal payment goes through. Paying an invoice yourself may not restore it right away, so ask your club. Renewing, stopping and buying again. There is no Renew button, and only your club can stop an auto-renewing pass. You can buy the same pass again for the same family only after the one you bought runs out of credits or expires. Before then, checkout says “[pass name] is already active on this account - remove it from the cart to continue.” An Unlimited pass you bought with no end date can’t be bought again from your account for that family. You can buy a different pass any time, and separate purchases never pool.
