Must know
  • When the club marks a holiday closure, no class session is created on those days, so affected classes simply won’t appear on your schedule.
  • A whole-club closure emails every guardian; a closure scoped to specific programs or categories only emails the families in those programs.
Clubs set closure days for holidays, breaks, and other days off. On a closure day, Uplifter doesn’t generate the classes that would normally run, so you won’t see them on the Schedule for those dates. There’s nothing you need to do — the missing classes are expected, not a glitch. A closure can cover the whole club or be limited to specific programs or categories. That scope also decides who hears about it:
  • Whole-club closures send a closure email to every guardian.
  • Scoped closures email only the families whose athletes are in the affected programs or categories.
So if your athlete’s class is running as usual but another program is closed, you may not get an email — that closure doesn’t affect you. Closure emails are sent as account (transactional) messages, so they always go out — there’s no email preference you can switch off to stop them, just like receipts and other account emails. See the notifications article for how the different message types work. Related: How do I view my athlete’s class schedule? · What notifications and emails will I receive?
