Must know
- Email Preferences in Account Settings has one switch per club. Turn a club off to stop its campaigns, club reminders and closure emails. Your other clubs aren’t affected.
- Receipts, invoices and payment notices keep coming whatever you set, and so do automatic notices your club has switched on.
- The unsubscribe link in a club email flips the same switch. Switch the club back to Subscribed to restart.
- “Delivery paused” means email to your address bounced or was blocked, so nothing reaches it, receipts included. Contact your club to get it cleared.
1
Open Email Preferences
Select Settings in the family portal sidebar (on a phone, tap More, then Settings). On Account Settings, Email Preferences lists each club you’re linked to, marked Subscribed or Unsubscribed, with a switch beside it. With no clubs linked, it reads “You’re not linked to any organizations yet.”
2
Turn a club's email off
Turn off the switch beside the club. You see “Unsubscribed from emails” and the club shows Unsubscribed.
3
Turn it back on
Turn the switch back on. You see “Subscribed to emails” and the club shows Subscribed.
Already showing Unsubscribed? Your club’s staff can also switch it from your account. If you didn’t change it, ask your club.
Delivery paused. If email to your address bounced or was blocked, a Delivery paused notice appears above your clubs. Until it’s cleared, no club’s email reaches you, receipts included, even with a club switched on.
What the notice says. After a bounce it reads “Email to this address could not be delivered, so we’ve stopped sending to it. Update your address or ask your gym for help.” Otherwise it reads “Email delivery to your address is paused, so we’ve stopped sending to it. Contact your gym to get this cleared once the address works again.” Texts aren’t affected.
Texts and chat are separate. Texts follow your SMS consent under Phone Number on the same page. Whether your club’s chat messages also arrive by email is your club’s setting.
If a club deactivates or removes your account, you get no email or text from that club at all. Automatic charges your club set up can still run, without receipts or failed-payment emails, so ask your club if you’re still being charged.
