Must know
  • Some programs require a pass or a specific membership before anyone can register; without one, checkout is blocked for that athlete.
  • The requirement is satisfied family-wide — a pass you already hold, or one you add to the same cart, counts.
  • A Pass Required or Membership Required badge marks these programs on your gym’s site.
Your gym can gate a program so only families with a particular pass or membership can sign up. When a program is gated, its card shows a Pass Required or Membership Required badge. When the matching pass or membership is on sale on your gym’s site, the badge links straight to the page where you can buy it; if there’s nothing available to buy, the badge is just plain text. What happens at checkout. If you try to register an athlete for a gated program without the required pass or membership, checkout is blocked and tells you what’s missing. Nothing is charged until the requirement is met. How to satisfy it. You have two easy paths:
  • Already hold it — if you (or the athlete) already have a qualifying pass or membership, the requirement is met automatically. A pass counts family-wide, and a membership counts for the athlete who holds it.
  • Add it to the same cart — add the required pass or membership to the cart alongside the program registration. Buying them together satisfies the requirement in one checkout, so you don’t have to purchase and come back.
Within a single requirement, holding any one of the accepted options is enough — if several passes qualify, you only need one of them, and the same goes for memberships. But a pass requirement and a membership requirement are separate: if a program shows both badges, you need one qualifying pass and one qualifying membership — meeting just one of the two won’t unlock registration.
