Must know
- A merge can’t be undone. Combine duplicates on My athletes merges two profiles of the same child into one.
- The profile you keep wins. Everything from the duplicate moves to the profile you keep, and that profile’s own details win where both have one.
- Not everyone sees the button. If you don’t see Combine duplicates, or the other profile belongs to another family, ask your club to merge them.
1
Open Combine duplicates
In the family portal, choose Athletes. On My athletes, choose Combine duplicates. The Merge duplicate athletes window opens.
2
Pick the two profiles
Under Duplicate (will be merged away), choose the extra profile. Under Survivor (keeps its details), choose the one to keep. Each list shows the athletes you can combine.
3
Preview the merge
Choose Preview merge. What moves to the survivor lists what will move. If the profiles are the wrong way round, choose Swap. Then choose Continue (if the preview says the merge needs Uplifter support, see below).
4
Confirm and merge
Under Type the duplicate’s name to confirm, type the name shown in the box. Capital letters don’t matter. “That does not match the duplicate.” means the spelling is off. Choose Merge athletes. When you see Merged, choose Close.
