Must know
  • Club announcements appear under the bell at the top of the family portal, and in your club website’s header.
  • You see announcements for everyone, for guardians, or for programs and events your athlete is in.
  • Closure announcements appear about 7 days ahead and still show if you’ve turned off the club’s email.
Where to find it. The bell is at the top right of the family portal and in your club website’s header. A number on it counts your unread announcements. Announcements aren’t emails, so email settings never hide them.
1

Open the bell

Select the bell. The Announcements panel opens and reads “You have [N] unread announcements” or “You’re all caught up!”
2

Read a post

Newest posts come first, each showing your club’s name (or Platform for a notice from Uplifter) and how long ago it was posted. Select a post to expand it, which also marks it read.
3

React with an emoji

Under each post are six emoji: 👍 ❤️ 🎉 🚀 👀 😕. Select one to react, with the post open or closed, and select it again to undo it. You can pick more than one.
4

Clear your unread posts

While anything is unread, select Mark all read to mark every post read at once.
Who sees which announcements. Most posts are aimed at everyone, at guardians, or at a program or event your athlete takes part in. Some automatic posts about your athlete go only to your family. Signed out on your club website. The bell shows only posts meant for everyone. You can see how many people reacted, and a Sign in to react link lets you join in. Automatic closure announcements. About 7 days before a holiday closure starts (or closer to the date, if your club adds it late), an “Upcoming Closure: [holiday name]” post appears for everyone in the club, even if the closure covers only some programs. It gives the dates and what the closure applies to, such as “the entire gym” or the programs affected, and is taken down on the closure’s last day. Email settings don’t hide it. The post still shows if you’ve turned off that club’s email. Only the separate closure email follows that setting.
