  • One athlete, your choices. Shared access covers one athlete. You choose exactly what the person can see or do, and at which clubs.
  • Accept within 7 days. The person must accept the invitation within 7 days, and no access begins until they do.
  • No waiver signing. People with Shared access can never sign waivers or consent forms.
  • Revoking is final. You can revoke access at any time, but revoked access can’t be restored. Send a new invitation if they need access again.
Who it’s for. Guardians in your family can access every athlete in it. Shared access gives someone else, such as a grandparent or caregiver, only what you pick for one athlete, without joining your family. Where to find it. In the family portal, open Family (on phones, under More) and find the Shared access card: “Choose what someone can see or do for an athlete.” Only the family owner or a co-manager gets the Share access button, and it stays disabled until your family has an athlete.

On the Shared access card, choose Share access.

Enter their email and pick the athlete

Enter the person’s Email address and choose the Athlete to share. For another child, send a second invitation.

Choose what they can access

Under Choose what they can access, tick the permissions they need. View profile and View schedule start ticked. Ticking a permission such as Edit profile also ticks the view permission it needs.

Choose their clubs

Under Clubs they can access, tick All current and future clubs or at least one club. Profile and medical information follow the athlete to every club either way.

Send the invitation

Choose Create invitation. If the email can’t be delivered, copy the link it shows and send it yourself.
What each group covers. Cancel registrations lets them cancel the athlete’s membership from Memberships. Program registrations are cancelled by your club, whoever asks. What happens next. The invitation shows under Waiting for a response as “Shared access invitation. Access begins after acceptance.” You can Revoke invitation while it waits. The person signs in or creates an account with the invited email, reviews the permissions and accepts. If the invitation expires, send a new one. What they get. Only the areas you ticked, at the clubs you chose. Club emails about the athlete reach them only with Receive updates, and only for those areas, so they usually get fewer emails than your family’s guardians. Receive updates also lets the club’s coaches message them in chat. Review or change access. Under People with access, each row shows “For [athlete’s name]”, up to three permissions plus a ”+[number] more” count, the clubs, and Why they have access. Choose Review access to open Edit shared access, change permissions or clubs, then choose Save changes (the email and athlete are locked). Other family members see View all permissions instead. Revoke access. Access has no end date. Choose the X on the row, then Revoke access in the Revoke this access? box. Access through your family ends immediately; any access they have another way stays. If the athlete leaves your family.
