Must know
  • If a class fills in the split second between your payment and confirmation, a paid drop-in that lost the spot is automatically refunded — you don’t have to ask.
  • For a paid drop-in, you’ll get an email letting you know, pointing you to the gym’s schedule so you can book another session.
  • Free drop-ins and free ($0) program spots that lose the race get a waitlist-required notice pointing you to the program page.
Popular sessions can reach capacity at the exact moment several families are checking out. Uplifter does a final capacity check right after payment, so occasionally a spot you paid for is already taken by the time the system confirms. When that happens, it’s handled for you.

If you paid for the drop-in

The drop-in that lost its spot is refunded automatically through the normal refund process — the full amount, back to your original payment method. You’ll receive an email letting you know it filled up, pointing you to the gym’s schedule so you can book another session.

Free spots that can’t be auto-refunded

For a free drop-in, or a free ($0) full-program spot that loses the race, you’ll instead get a waitlist-required email. It points you to the program page, where you can add your athlete to the waitlist.

A paid full-program enrollment

In the rare case a paid full-program enrollment loses the capacity race, it isn’t resolved automatically. Reach out to your gym so they can restore your spot or arrange a refund. For drop-ins and free spots you’re never left paying for a place you didn’t get. For a paid program enrollment in this edge case, your gym sorts it out with you.
