Must know
  • Requests to join one of your athletes appear on the Guardian Requests page, where you approve or deny each one.
  • Approving adds the person as a co-guardian of your athlete; denying leaves your athlete unchanged.
  • Only the primary guardian (or a club admin) reviews these requests.
When someone asks to be added as a guardian of a child you manage — and the club doesn’t add them automatically — their request waits for your approval.
1

Open Guardian Requests

In the parent portal, go to the Guardian Requests page. A banner on your Athletes list also flags how many requests are pending. Each request shows who’s asking (name and email), the relationship they entered, and which athlete they want to join.
2

Review the request

Confirm you recognize the person and that they should have access to this athlete. If anything looks unfamiliar, deny it — you can always be re-invited later.
3

Approve or deny

Choose Approve to add them as a co-guardian, or Deny to reject the request. Approved guardians can then see and manage the athlete, subject to your sharing settings.
Approving here always creates a co-guardian, never a new primary. If you later want that person to be the main account holder, you can promote them from the athlete’s Guardians section.
