Must know
  • Only an Active membership that isn’t already ending can be cancelled online.
  • After you cancel, the membership stays active until its end date, then ends with no further charges — there’s no refund of the current period.
  • If the membership is required for a program your athlete is committed to, online cancel is blocked. Contact the gym instead.
Cancelling stops a recurring membership from renewing. You keep the coverage you’ve already paid for — it runs to the end of the current period and then ends.
1

Open the Memberships page

Sign in to your family portal and open Memberships. Find the membership under the right athlete.
2

Click Cancel

Click Cancel on that membership. A Cancel button only shows on memberships you’re allowed to end yourself. If there’s no button, the membership can’t be cancelled online.
3

Confirm

The confirmation tells you the exact date coverage will end. Click Cancel membership to confirm, or Keep membership to back out. You’ll get a note confirming when it ends.
Once cancelled, the membership’s status changes to Ending and it stops billing. It stays usable right up to its end date, then finishes on its own. If cancel is blocked: when a membership is required for a program your athlete is already registered in, ending it would leave them without required coverage. Uplifter blocks the online cancel and lists the affected programs. To make a change in that case, contact the gym directly.
