Must know
  • Your club may close it for you. If your club uses auto clock-out (after 12 hours by default), a segment left running that long is closed. Your club can change the limit or turn it off.
  • The end time is not when you left. The recorded end is exactly the limit after that segment started, so ask a manager to correct it.
  • Nothing labels an auto-closed entry. Look for a segment that lasts exactly your club’s limit (12h by default).
How the limit works. The limit applies to one open segment, not your whole shift. Starting or ending a break, or switching work type, starts a new segment and restarts the count. A break you forget to end is closed the same way. You are then fully Clocked Out, with no new work segment started. If your club has no limit set, a forgotten segment stays open until you or a manager ends it, unless its work type has its own time limit. It is not instant. A segment can stay open for a short while past the limit. Until then, the header clock still shows Working or Break with a running timer, and the Time Clock page still shows Clocked In or On Break. Don’t count on a reminder. Uplifter does not send you a reminder to clock out. Set yourself one. How to spot an auto-closed entry. The closed entry looks like any other, so check its length.

Still shown as clocked in? If the Time Clock card shows Clocked In or On Break with a long timer, select End Shift. It works in both states, but it records the current time, not when you left. Then ask a manager to fix the end time. Clocking in again. After an auto clock-out you can select Clock In as normal. It only refuses while you still have an open segment. Who can correct it. Only a manager with the Manage Time Tracking permission can edit or delete entries. If that pay period’s timesheet is Approved, someone with the Approve Timesheets permission must reopen it first.
