Must know
  • Only work types with a maximum duration behave this way — most segments have no cap and run until you end them.
  • When a capped segment nears its limit, the timer warns you and then ends the segment automatically.
Some work types carry a maximum duration set by your gym. When you’re clocked into one, the timer keeps an eye on the cap and won’t let the segment run past it. Early in the segment the timer just notes the cap — for example, “Max 2h” — so you know it’s there without an alarm. As you get close, it escalates:
  • Around two minutes out, the timer turns yellow and switches to an “Auto-ends in” countdown of the time remaining. The header clock button turns yellow too, but it keeps showing your running time rather than the countdown.
  • In the final minute, both turn red and pulse, and the timer warns that the segment is about to end.
When the countdown reaches zero, the segment ends automatically at the cap. The displayed timer never overshoots the limit — it stops exactly at the maximum rather than ticking past it — so the recorded time matches the cap. Your state returns to clocked out for that segment. When a capped segment auto-ends, you’re clocked out with no segment running — there’s nothing to switch. If you’re still working, clock in again to keep tracking your time, and pick whatever work type you want in the clock-in dialog. If a segment ended sooner than you expected, review the day on your timesheet and ask a manager if the entry needs adjusting.
