Must know
- Changing a mark. Tap a status to set it and a different one to change it. Tapping the status already selected does nothing, and only the office can clear a mark.
- Mark all present sets every athlete to Present, including anyone already marked Late, Absent, or Excused.
- Who marked it. Each marked row shows who marked it and when, for example Marked by Jane D. · Sep 21 at 9:58 AM.
- Any time. You can take attendance before, during, and after the class. Starting the class is only needed for report cards.
1
Use Mark all present when most are here
Optional, and do it first: tap Mark all present, then change the few who were late, absent, or excused. The note under the button says it covers anyone already marked. On a very large class, choose a Group first, or nothing is saved. If some fail to save, a message names them and the rest stay saved.
2
Mark each athlete
Tap Present, Late, Absent, or Excused on the athlete’s row. To change a mark, tap a different status.
3
Add a note if you need one
Tap the note icon on a row (Add note for [athlete name], or Edit note for [athlete name] once one exists), write in the Attendance note window, and tap Save. A note does not record attendance. It shows under the name, clipped to two lines until you tap it. Co-coaches see a new note when they refresh.
4
Check the summary labels
The labels count present, late, absent, and excused. A not marked label appears only while someone is unmarked.
- Changing another coach’s mark saves, with a message such as [Name] had marked this athlete absent. Your change to present was saved.
- A failed mark reverts that row only: [Name]‘s mark was not saved. Try again.
- Marking someone present or late after report cards were written shows [Name] is not on this session’s report card yet.
- On a future class, marks are stamped with the time you make them.
