Must know
- Starting, restarting or ending a class changes it for every coach, and everyone stays on the register. Scoring opens only when you tap Write report cards.
- Attendance marks, Marked by captions, group moves and visitor changes appear on every coach’s screen within moments. Roster notes appear only after a refresh.
- Scores you have not submitted exist only on your open scoring screen. Leaving it, reloading, or someone ending the class discards them.
- You can change another coach’s mark. When you tap one athlete, a notice tells you who had marked it and what you changed.
Scores. Other coaches’ scores appear on your scoring screen only while you have it open. Nothing is saved until someone submits, so if you open scoring later, you start with an empty grid, and a refresh does not bring earlier scores back.
Your unsubmitted scores. They survive a dropped connection and switching between the by-skill and by-athlete views. They are lost with no warning if you tap Back to register or Register, reload or close the page, or another coach ends the class.
When the class ends. When a coach submits the last athletes with End class on submit left on, or anyone taps End class, coaches on the scoring screen go back to the register, except the one who is submitting.
If your connection drops. The live feed reconnects on its own and the class reloads, so marks, captions, status and groups catch up. Scores other coaches entered while you were offline do not come back.
- A mark you tap while offline is not queued. That athlete’s row goes back and you see “[Name]‘s mark was not saved. Try again.”
- If Mark all present fails for several athletes, the message reads like “4 marks were not saved: Ava, Ben, Cole and 1 more. Try again.”
- Submitting offline shows “Couldn’t submit evaluations - try again.”
