  • The coach portal follows your active club, the same one the admin dashboard uses. A fresh sign-in resets it to your default club.
  • You see the picker when your active club doesn’t give you the Access Coach Portal permission. An Admin seat always includes it.
  • If no club gives you coach access, the coach portal doesn’t open for you. Ask an admin to turn on Access Coach Portal for you.
Why it appears. The portal opens for your active club. If you have a staff seat there without Access Coach Portal (a Volunteer or Accountant seat, for example), or only a family membership, you see Choose an organization instead. It lists the clubs where you do have coach access. Pending invitations and deactivated clubs never appear. Who gets access. The Coach and Admin roles include Access Coach Portal. Any other seat can be given it as an extra permission. Even one club needs a tap. The portal never opens a lone coaching club for you. You pick it from the list. Your active club. Every portal shares it. Changing it in any switcher or this picker changes it everywhere. It isn’t remembered between sign-ins: each fresh sign-in starts on your default club, which favors a club where you hold a staff seat. Staff with the Coach role land in the coach portal at sign-in. How you get here. The Coach item in the admin account menu and the Coach Portal link in the admin sidebar show only when your active club gives you coach access, so they never lead to the picker. You reach it by opening the coach portal directly.

Pick your club

Tap a club. Its row shows a spinner and the other rows are disabled while the portal reloads. If the switch fails, the rows become tappable again with no error message, so tap your club again.

Switch later

Use the club switcher at the top of the sidebar (or More on a phone). It lists only clubs where you have coach access, and Search organizations… narrows the list. Switching reloads the page.
No coach access anywhere. The coach portal doesn’t open for you and no picker is shown. Ask an admin to turn on Access Coach Portal. New staff account. With a new staff account, you must first confirm you are 18 or older. Until then you have no coach access in any club.
